As a not-for-profit volunteer group, every year the Friends of Hemingfield Colliery rely on continuing fundraising efforts to insure the site in order to be able to open for activities. This is the starting point for volunteer activities and public open days, before general maintenance costs or any bids to support new projects can be pursued for conservation or restoration.
In order to recognise the contributions of those who support the Friends’ work and share their aims of saving and celebrating Hemingfield Colliery, this page has been created to acknowledge and commemorate individual donations. We are hugely grateful for these contributions which are fundamental to help the Friends continue their work.
